On an annual basis, the Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation arranges a number of seminars on current events within the field of foreign affairs. At the Book Fair in Göteborg September 2009 Cecilia Stegö Chiló, Richard Swartz and Walburga Habsburg Douglas participated in a seminar commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall. Linda Siverbo, Fernando Bautista and John Suarez participated in a seminar, at the Book Fair 2009, discussing the developments in Latin America. Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth, Minister for Culture (in the middle) visited the Foundation at the Book Fair 2009.
