2010-02-02 On January 25-28, The Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation arranged a study visit to Brussels for a group of young politicians from the Turkish AK Party Youth. The programme included visits to NATO, the European Commissions and the European Parliament. At the Parliament, Swedish MEP Christofer Fjellner spoke about the relations between Turkey and EU. The same topic was discussed at EPP, where the group, among others, met with the Greek MEP Georgios Koumoutsakos. The participants were all very pleased with the trip and appreciated the opportunity to immerse themselves in various aspects of the European Union.
