Bosnia-Herzegovina formally applied for EU-membership on February 15. The Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation has for many years supported European integration and coalition building in the country as well as regional co-operation on the Balkans. Still, the need for reform is substantial and many challenges remain.
Branislav Borenovic, President of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) and Chairman of the Committee for European integration and regional co-operation in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, will present his perspective on the latest developments. PDP is a coalition partner in the current government of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
A new report describing Bosnia-Herzegovina’s road to European integration, published by the Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation, will be released at the seminar.
Diana Janse, Senior Foreign Policy Adviser of the Moderate Party, will moderate the seminar which will be held in English.
