Principles for a Free Society in Kosovo

On November 25-27, the Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation hosted a conference in Pristina, Kosovo, together with the youth branch of its co-operation organisation in the country, the Democratic League of Kosovo. The theme of the conference was Principles for a Free Society, and aimed to educate the co-operation organisation’s youth in democratic values and human rights.

Invited to speak at the conference was Mr Tobias Sjö, Political Advisor for the Swedish Moderate party at the Stockholm County Council, and Ms Alexandra Ivanov, Political Advisor for the Moderate Party in Brussels and former Secretary General for the Confederation of Conservative and Liberal Students. Mr Armend Zemaj, MP, visited the conference as well, and gave the participants the current political outlook on the political challenges Kosovo is facing on a global level.
