Moldova after the Vilnius summit

The European Stability Initiative (ESI) released, December 3, a report analyzing Moldavia after the Vilnius summit in the end of November, 2013. Moldavia is the the first non-Baltic former Soviet republic to enjoy free-visa travel to the European Union. Although Moldavia is a fully developed democratic state, moreover a rare phenomenon in post-Soviet politics, the process for Moldavia to adopt European values has not been easy; especially in the matter of tolerance and gay rights.
