Yulia Tymoshenko should be free by Vilnius summit

Hryhoriy Nemyria, deputy head of Yulia Tymoshenko’s party Batkivshchyna and Sofia Arkelsten, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Swedish parliament met on Wednesday. They concluded that the Ukrainian government should release the imprisoned former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko before the summit with EU’s Eastern Partnership in Vilnius this autumn. The meeting was held in conjunction with Jarl Hjalmarson Foundation’s conference on Political prisoners and the Council of Europe.
